It's almost here . . . OPENING DAY AT EAS! The staff has been very busy working in the park and on the fields getting us ready for opening day - Saturday, May 7, 2011.
04/27/2011 Edit: Right now the fields are unplayable. There needs to be some serious drying out. Chances are there will be no parking near the front field, only in the main lot. Updates will be posted here!
UPDATE: MAY4, 2011
TO: ALL EAS PLAYERS FOR 2011
FROM: EAS
SUBJECT: OPENING WEEKEND
UNFORTUNATELY, EAS HAS TO DELAY OUR OPENING FOR ONE WEEK. THE RAIN THAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED FOR THE PAST MONTH HAS FLOODED THE CREEK, THE FRONT WOODS FIELD, THE PERIMETER PATHS AND OUR PARKING AREA. ADDITIONALLY, THE SPEED ZONE IS MUD.
THE ONLY FIELDS PLAYABLE ARE THE VILLAGE, 1 STORY & 2 STORY FORT... BUT YOU WILL NEED A CANOE (OR SCUBA EQUIPMENT) TO GET TO THEM... AND GOOD LUCK GETTING ANY OF OUR REFEREES TO GO OUT WITH YOU... (ITS SO HARD GETTING GOOD HELP THESE DAYS).
ANYWAY ... WE WILL OPEN NEXT WEEKEND 5/14, 5/15... UNLESS WE ALL NEED TO THINK ABOUT BUILDING AN ARK.
SORRY EVERYONE ... MOTHER NATURE ...
THE GOOD NEWS IS ... OUR GUYS GOT OSAMA BIN LADEN ... 5/1/2011
(REMEMBER 9/11/2001... 3000 INNOCENT AMERICANS KILLED ...)
GOD BLESS AMERICA
